Sir Bruce Forsyth has slammed Simon Cowell for allowing foreign acts on 'Britain's Got Talent'.

The 85-year-old star has hit out at the show's boss for enabling contestants from overseas - who include Hungarian shadow theatre group Attraction, who are hot favourites to win the competition - to take part in this year's series, suggesting he should create a separate show for foreign contenders.

She said: "It should be about British acts - that's the name of the show. Simon is bringing people in from abroad. Maybe he should have 'World's Got Talent', then he'd have three shows!"

Bruce - who started in showbiz when he was 14 years old - has clashed with Simon in recent weeks after criticising 'BGT' on a few occasions for allowing young contestants to compete on the show, and the music mogul hit back by referring to him as "Mr. Grumpy" on Monday night's live semi-final.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' co-host has laughed off Simon's jibe insisting he isn't bothered about the remark, but he has been unable to come up with a good comeback.

He added to The Sun newspaper: "I didn't see Simon call me Mr. Grumpy but people told me about it and it gave me a good laugh.

"Maybe Simon's a bit grumpy himself about 'Strictly' beating 'X Factor' in the ratings. I don't mind him calling me names. He says mean things to everybody -- I would be offended if he didn't say mean things about me. I don't mind him calling me Mr. Grumpy. But I don't know what to call him back."

Meanwhile, 'BGT' contestant Alice Fredenham - who cried for days when she failed to get through an audition on 'The Voice' - suffered a panic attack after making a mistake during her performance of 'Cry Me A River' on Tuesday night's live semi-final.

The 28-year-old hopeful was unable to attend the results show interview with the other contestants afterwards, but she later reappeared for the verdict and hosts Ant and Dec announced she was going home.

A show source said: "Alice convinced herself that she had ruined her chance of getting to the final and she did have a bit of a panic attack.

"It was a real crisis of confidence moment for her and our main concern was making sure she was OK and could get through the result.

"She is now hoping for a place in the final as the judges' wild card but she knows that there are absolutely no guarantees she will get it."

'Britain's Got Talent' returns with another live semi-final tonight at 7:30pm on ITV.
