Tulisa 'Faces Arrest As Police Prepare To Question Star Over Alleged Drug Deal'

Police are reportedly planning to question Tulisa after allegations emerged yesterday of the star attempting to orchestrate a drug deal with an undercover reporter.

According to a new report today from The Sun, who set up the original undercover sting, the 24-year-old singer faces arrest "within days" after the paper exposed her setting up an alleged cocaine deal.

Tulisa is alleged to have orchestrated the illicit deal with an undercover reporter who recorded their conversation at London's plush Nobu restaurant earlier this year. In the recording, Tulisa â€" who previously claimed to have turned her back on drugs when she was 14-years-old â€" appears to be in a candid mood as she touches on her murky association with drug dealers.

“Half the guys I know are drug dealers,” she reportedly says. “One's a massive cocaine dealer. He's my best friend. He's a gangster â€" he's my gangster.” The N-Dubz star also appears to talk about the code she uses when ordering quantities of illegal substances. “We talk in lingo,” she adds. “Like we know what. I can't call him and go, 'have you got any?' I'll say, 'Hi, have you got any sweets? And he'll be like, 'Um, how many sweets do you want?'

Undercover reporters later secretly filmed her alleged supplier - part-time rapper Mike GLC - sell £800 worth of cocaine to them at the Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair.

Tulisa is set to be quizzed by Scotland Yard detectives after the alleged deal was made public yesterday whilst last night showbiz insiders signalled her prime-time TV career was all but over. The star has already announced her departure from the X Factor after two seasons on Simon Cowell's talent show.

The singer spent the day lying low yesterday after the news broke, holed up inside her £6million Hertfordshire mansion, where she was spotted being visited by a member of her management team and cousin Dappy.

Soon after her former band-mate's visit,  police reportedly arrived at Tulisa’s home to briefly speak to her PA Gareth Varey and a female friend, The Sun reveals.

Yesterday a Scotland Yard spokesman said: “We have received information concerning the alleged supply of illegal drugs. We are considering the information received.”
