Alan Partridge has Norwich in the palm of his hand at film premiere
Alan Partridge gleefully signed autographs, joked with fans and posed for photographs at the premiere of his film Alpha Papa in Norwich.
The film tells the story of how Alan's radio station, North Norfolk Digital, is taken over by a new media conglomerate. The move sets in motion a chain of events which see Alan having to work with the police to defuse a potentially violent siege.
Steve Coogan stars as his most famous comic creation in the new film, which has been written by Armando Iannucci, Peter Baynham and Neil and Rob Gibbons.
