TCA: James Gandolfini remembered by Starz's Chris Albrecht
By Tim Kenneally
LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Starz CEO and former HBO chairman and CEO Chris Albrecht remembered "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini, who died last month, saying that "The Sopranos" had "changed my life" and calling the actor "extraordinarily talented."
Saying that the Sopranos "changed my life and changed everybody's lives that was intimately involved with it," Albrecht added, "I remember the first time I saw him and I'll never forget it."
Gandolfini died of a heart attack in June at age 51 while in Italy.
"He was extraordinarily talented and I've said this before, but in my opinion nobody has ever been better at anything than James was in 'The Sopranos,'" Albrecht said. "He will be missed and he was a very nice man."
